Here we go:
1. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars. I make these every year without fail. This post is from 2012, but we were making them for ages before this post. I think my sister calls me every year when she bakes them, too, and we commiserate over how we can't stop eating them and who wants to wear skinny jeans anyway. Oh, and this is a Kiddo in the Kitchen post. Hi, Jack!!!
2. Pumpkin Cookies with Roses and Succulents. I hope the succulent trend stays around...along with everything pumpkin. Some of my favorite cookies to make are those with pieces you make ahead of time. This is one. Those succulents may look at a little tricky, but you can't mess them up. Who knows what all succulents *technically* look like anyway.
3. Caramel Honeycrisp Apple Bars. Honeycrisp apples are the queens of the apple section. I do a little happy dance when they appear in my grocery store each year. I do a bigger happy dance when I make these bars. Caramel + Honeycrisp + pecans = deliciousness.
4. Pumpkin Cheesecake Brownies. Do I really need to say more? Pumpkin. Cheesecake. Brownies. (Make them!)
5. Spooky S'mores Bars. OK, we're veering into Halloween territory here, but please don't miss this recipe. This is not your everyday graham plus chocolate plus marshmallow. The base is a thick graham COOKIE. So, so good. Plus, those little ghosts make this treat utterly adorable.
6. Ombre Pumpkin Decorated Cookies. I love a simple-to-make cookie with big impact. These are just the ticket. Super cute, fun to make, perfect for gift giving.
7. Pumpkin Cream Cheese. I posted this recipe on the blog way back in 2009. My photography skills left a lot to be desired. The recipe totally makes up for it, though. Trust me, you WANT to make this cream cheese. No, you NEED to make it.
8. Fall Floral Decorated Cookies. If you love the look of floral decorated cookies, but think they're relegated to spring and summer, think again! The colors in this cookie set scream fall and are so pretty as a group.
9. Soft Pumpkin Cookies with Cinnamon Sugar Frosting. If you love a soft, puffy, fluffy cookie, this recipe is for you. The cookies are pillowy...the cinnamon sugar frosting is dreamy.
10. Baked Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Oatmeal. This recipe really doesn't get the attention it deserves. I absolutely LOVE it. Make it with or without the Greek yogurt ghosts, but seriously make it. It's the perfect make-ahead breakfast that can easily be reheated in the morning. (Those are my favorite.) The spices with the pumpkin, oats, and chocolate chips make for a hearty and comforting fall breakfast.
Which will you try first?
