We're baaaaaaaaack!
Guys, I'm not sure what happened. We're still shopping at Trader Joe's. We're still eating all things Trader Joe's. We just haven't blogged anything Trader Joe's in a while. So sorry!
We're diving back in with a review of Trader Joe's Cream Cheese Brioche Pastries. You'll find them in the freezer section. They come to two a box. Since I'm so out of practice, I forgot to save the receipt, so I can't tell you how much they cost. I will tell you that I didn't even LOOK at the price when I saw these in the freezer case. I love a cream cheese danish.
She says: I'm a cream cheese danish lover. These did not disappoint. The brioche is pillowy and soft, and the cream cheese has just the right amount of sweet and tang. They're super easy to make...defrost for about an hour and then pop in the oven for 15 minutes or so. My one and only, teeny-tiny complaint (well, it's really two complaints wrapped into one) is that the serving size is for 1/2 of a pastry. I mean, c'mon. I want to eat the whole thing. That said, there are only two in the box, so I did only eat half. Maybe TJ's knows what they're talking about.

He says (Mr. E): Definitely "buy and try," says the Cheese Danish Guy!

He says (Jack): These were amazing! The dough is just the right balance: holds the whole thing together yet pulls away pretty easily with each bite. It reminds me a bit of a bagel, except not as tough. The cream cheese is great as well, not too sweet but not too tangy either. I would have preferred it a bit more spread out
