Isn't this packaging so cute? Trader Joe's wins again for darling graphics. This almost (almost!) makes me want to go camping. Instead, I'll eat the cookies.
Today's review is of Trader Joe's Mini Dark Chocolate Mint Coins. They're mint chocolate cookies coated with dark chocolate. A 6-ounce box costs $1.99.
She says: Um, yeah. These are dangerous. The size makes them just perfect for mindless eating...kind of like a bowl of popcorn. (Note to self: do not sneak a box into the movies. You'll eat them all.) The cookies are crisp, the chocolate is rich, and the mint is cool and refreshing. These remind me almost exactly of the mini chocolate mint stars.

He says (Jack): These are incredible! They are substantially smaller and lighter than Thin Mints, which may cause you to feel less guilty about eating a ton of them. :) The mint flavor is at just the right level (noticeable, but not too strong), and the dark chocolate is not very dark, so even milk chocolate lovers like myself will enjoy every bit of these! Although I will warn you, the aftertaste is darker... But really, I should ask for weekly shipments of these once I go back to school.
Overall rating: 5 out of 5 stars
