I am not a caramel girl. I mean, I like caramel, but it's not one of my favorite flavors.

After recipe testing and many, many batches of caramels...salted and chocolate salted...I can say unequivocally that I am a fan. Maybe a bit obsessed.
Y'all, homemade caramels are easy to make! No really! And these caramels are soft, creamy, buttery. They're DREAMY.
The chocolate salted caramels are not just caramels with a hint of chocolate. They are chocolatey in a big, big way. Fellow chocoholics, I have your back.
One batch makes a TON! You don't realize it until you're wrapping each piece in waxed paper...which does take forever but is oh-so-cute and worth it. *spoiler alert* My Christmas list is absolutely getting caramels this year.
