Great British Baking Show-Inspired Cookies!

Cookies inspired by The Great British Baking Show? Aye! 

Mark and Jack love it when I walk around the house saying, "'ello, Guvnah!" 

OK, no, they don't. 

To make Great British Baking Show-inspired cookies, I used:

• my perfect every time cut-out cookies
• no-fail royal icing
• gel paste food coloring: bright white, royal blue, super red, and coal black

How cute is that Queen cookie cutter? Even decorated with only one color of icing and a string of sugar pearls, she's elegant. I've also made an Earl Grey version of Queen cookies. 

I have to know...who is your favorite GBBO contestant? Can I vote for allllllllll of them? I seriously cry every time someone is sent home. How do they manage to pick the sweetest people? 

***update*** When we visited London last year, we RAN INTO a table of former GBBO bakers!!! I did tell them how much I loved them all but didn't want to totally geek out and ask for a photo. It was so fun seeing them IN THE WILD! 

No soggy bottoms allowed!
