Anyhoo. We're reviewing Trader Joe's Chocolate Covered Lebkuchen Cookies. These are a holiday item and are also available in a non-chocolate version. A package of 7 cookies will set you back a cool $2.69. The cookies are described as "soft gingerbread with nuts & spices."
He says: I do like the "soft gingerbread" aspect. Definitely different. The spice level is good but didn't detect any nuts, as mentioned in the description. I'm a chocolate fiend, so the thin coating left me wanting more chocolate.

She says: Oh gosh. I really don't like giving less than 3.5 stars on anything, but these (as I taught Jack to say as a toddler) "aren't my favorite." I love gingerbread, I love chocolate. I love them together. I'll tell you what I don't like here - the lemon. It's too much for me. One of my grandmothers used to make pumpkin pie with lemon extract, and I love you Nana T, but I did not like that pie.
