UPDATE: Check out our sister site, Sweet on Trader Joe's, dedicated to all things Trader Joe's!
This week, Mr. E and I are reviewing Trader Joe's Mini Cheesecake Cones. You'll find them in the freezer section. They come four to a box and are described as "almond florentine cones filled with a creamy cheesecake filling."
You'll need to defrost them for a bit at room temperature or for 90 minutes in the fridge.

Trader Joe's Mini Cheesecake Cones Review
He (Mr. E) says: Combining my top two childhood desserts (cheesecake and ice cream cones) seemed worthy of a tasting. If there was a special meal dining out with my parents or grandparents, and cheesecake was available, it was my first choice. I'm not sure TJ's meant for the cones to be sticky like they were covered in honey once thawed, but...the flavors are as advertised. These are not finger food, crumbling too easily, but once I grabbed a fork, I must say they were enjoyable. If served frozen and without the sticky mess, I'd eat one again.

She says: As Mr. E noted, these are a mess. Once they thawed, I went back to check the package to make sure I'd read the thawing time correctly and to see if there was a sauce I'd overlooked. It is as if the cones are leaking caramel sauce or honey. The cones are crunchy, though, and quite delicious. The cheesecake filling is not so tasty, unfortunately. I tossed about half of mine. I snagged two boxes when we saw these at Trader Joe's. Anyone want the other one?
