It's Super Bowl Sunday, which calls for a review of a new Trader Joe's snack that might just be worthy of the big game: Jalapeno-Seasoned Corn and Rice Puffs.

UPDATE: Check out our sister site, Sweet on Trader Joe's, dedicated to all things Trader Joe's!
The puffs are organic, vegan, and gluten-free, made with corn grits, rice and quinoa flours. The puffs are big, and well, puffy. Think cheese balls, but in a crescent shape.
A 4.9-ounce bag costs $1.99. Look for them on an endcap or in the chip section.

She says: Pour yourself a cold beer and prepare to watch the game with a sizable serving of this snack! The puffs pack a good bit of heat with the jalapeno flavor that is crazy addictive. Crunchy and light, they're easily poppable. I'm guessing our bag will be empty by the end of the third quarter.

He (Mr. E) says: Dear Jalapeño Corn and Rice Puffs, you had me at jalapeño, but you HAD to sneak in the quinoa, didn’t you?! Even so, these are perfectly puffed puffs. As the seasoning started off, I thought, "where's the flavor?" but after a few seconds, it kicked in and removed all doubts. I don’t always choose jalapeño puffs, but when I do, I'll choose TJ's.
