Hello! Hi! Hey! How are ya? You might have heard that we're having a bit of weather here in Texas. A bit of weather combined with a power grid that, um, wasn't prepared? We don't have the supplies or clothes for this kind of weather, y'all. Send parkas...and cookies.
I'm happy to report that we have power at the Bake at 350 house. For now. All of my baking ideas for this week have been tossed out the window, though. Yesterday, the power went out mid-laundry cycle...so I'm scared to start baking...or wash my hair. It's the perfect time to peek back into the archives.
7 of our favorite February recipes
From 2017, Favorite Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting
I've made a LOT of chocolate cakes over the years. This is hands-down the best! Moist and light and fluffy and...well, the best!
From 2013, Simple Macarons
My friend Lupita spent an afternoon teaching me the finer points of macaron-making. These are the result.
From 2020, Brazilian Cheese Bread
Naturally gluten-free, these puffy, cheesy little bread balls can be yours...in about 30 minutes. Really!
From 2018, Chocolate-Covered Clementines
Helloooooooo, sunshine!
From 2018, Meyer Lemon, Ginger, and Turmeric Cake
Speaking of sunshine, this cake packs it! Such a gorgeous sunny color, a light crumb, and a zippy flavor. It's high on my favorites list!
From 2017, Unicorn Blondies
Change up the colors and sprinkles to match your mood - I'm kinda partial to this combo, though. These frosted blondies are out of this world!
From 2011, Peanut Butter Blossoms
Comfort and nostalgia all wrapped up in one little cookie. If you've never made them, you need to. If you have, it's time to make them again.
Stay warm, my friends!
