While I'm starting the year trying to EAT MORE PLANTS, that doesn't mean I'm not still eating cookies. ;)
Here are 6 Favorite January Recipes
- Everyday Brownies: I can absolutely see why this recipe is a January favorite. After a couple of months of pies and iced sugar cookies, these basic brownies fit the bill of delcious and SIMPLE.
- Cinnamon Roll Bundt Cake: Keeping with the simple category, a Bundt cake is the simplest of cakes. Cinnamon roll flavors keep it cozy for cold January days. (Makes a great breakfast!)
- Puffy Fluffy Peanut Butter M&M Cookies: For lunchboxes, after-school treats, and, well, for any time of day. These puffy peanut butter cookies are a joy to make and eat!

Oatmeal Bourbon Raisin Cookies: If you love an oatmeal raisin cookie, I challenge you to up your game with this recipe. Soaking the raisins in bourbon or whisky softens them and adds a depth of flavor that isn't boozy but makes the raisins taste better than ever! A satisfyingly bendable cookie!
- Slow-Cooker Applesauce: I'm making this again before the week is out. A no-sugar-added incredibly delicious applesauce that you'll want to dollop on everything: waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, potato pancakes, cheese, etc., etc., Oh, and you'll also just eat it by the spoonful!
- German Sour Cherry Cake: A pink-glazed cake studded with cherries that hints at Valentine's Day right around the corner. Made with a cornmeal batter, this is a cake you'll whip up again and again!
