Mother's Day is Sunday. One version of these, or all three versions of these, needs to be part of your celebration.
I'm sharing three versions with you: Almond-Filled, Vanilla Bean-Cream Cheese, and Chocolate-Covered Strawberry. The almond-filled is reminiscent of almond croissants with a hint of orange in the filling. The vanilla-cream cheese is speckled with vanilla beans and tastes a little like cheesecake. Chocolate-covered strawberry has a cream cheese base as well, with strawberry jam, a bit of almond, and a good drizzle of chocolate on the top.

The method is the same for all three. Make the filling...
...then spread on the wide end of the Crescent roll.
Roll them up, bake...
...and then top them with something, whether it be a dusting of powdered sugar, a vanilla bean glaze, or a drizzle of chocolate.
Oh. My.
I've eaten my fair share of these and I can tell you that they're all good. They're all can't-stop-at-one good. The almond version is my favorite, but anything almond speaks to my heart...and tummy.
I'm sharing the recipes for all three over on Imperial Sugar's site. Go grab them!
